Chando is currently residing with her family in New York City. Chando started her acting profession in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando originated the role of Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World Changes. She played from 2005 to 2007 and again for several months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. The first time she appeared on stage was the TV show House Blend on the show House Blend, in which she appeared as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV part after three years. Later in 2009, Chando appeared in American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. She starred two episodes in the American drama-comedy TV show Glory Daze. She has also appeared on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
