Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in the Queens area. However, she moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island before the conclusion of her junior year. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger. From the age of nine until 16, she began working in the entertainment business by acting. Ron Stetson trained her in the techniques used by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. It took around three years. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Her first performance came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out to Los Angeles. The first film she appeared in was Johnny Mnemonic. She did every stunt in this film, which established her as an athlete as well as an actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to land a regular role in the show Friends.
