Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began as an actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. She also had an important role in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the very first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and, in the second season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in NBC's This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began to take an interest in acting, photography and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue an acting career.
