Scarlett Johansson was born on the 22nd of November, 1984 on the 22nd of November, 1984 in New York City New York. She is an American actor and singer whose talents have won her recognition across many genres - from thrillers and adventure films to period dramas. Johansson was raised in New York City as the daughter an architect and a production company. She was the twin sister of Hunter and her were among the youngest of siblings. When she was a kid, she began acting. In fact, by the age of 7 she was already auditioning for several commercials. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. Johansson made her debut an actor in the film North (1994) at the age of nine. When she was eight years old, she appeared with Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson made her debut in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who escape. Smith was offered the first of many acting jobs in the age of 6. She made a commercial for Dannon. Much like many other new actresses choose to pursue, she decided to build her skills in theater. She worked on various projects throughout the USA in the midst of making her debut on stage. She graduated from the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
