Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was a student of Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando is most well-known for her role as Maddie Coleman from As the World Rotates, a tv soap opera that she appeared in between 2005 through 2007. She also played it for the second time at the beginning of 2009, this time for a few months. The first time she appeared on stage was her debut on the TV show House Blend on the show House Blend, in which she played Jenna Harper. She also played Maddie Coleman in the CBS TV soap As the World Turns for three years. Then in the year 2009 Chando got a role in the American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. Also, she acted as Annabelle in two episodes Glory Daze, an American comedy-drama TV series. Also, she has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
